I have worked in mySAP HCM or HR module, as commonly called for a few years. So I thought of writing about some worthy topics and providing links to online resources in case you need it.

I won't say the material here is exhaustive or even sufficient, since a complete book of a few hundred pages can be written to do justice with the subject. Plus, I thought it will be a waste of time to duplicate the information already available in the form of online resources and books on the subject.

So I basically restricted myself to just touching a few important topics here. You can navigate to the topics of your interest and for more details, you can refer the links provided and occasionally you need to use the Search function provided at the top right corner of this web-site for any specific topic. An interesting topic which I have chosen to be the first topic in this section - mySAP ERP HCM -is about the technological changes through the history of SAP.

HR module is divided into the 4 major modules by SAP according to the functions they represent - PA, OM, Time Management and Payroll - though there is a high level of integration among them. They are discussed in seperate sub-sections.

Then, applications like ESS/MSS have been added to serve HR processes relating to employees and their manager.
